Brandon Butler '15 Recruiting Profile

Fell in love with this sport my sophomore year of high school. I am a senior at picayune memorial high school in Mississippi. I have played varsity all 3 years, my sophomore year i subbed in at all midfield positions and forward. My junior year I started about half the games that season playing strictly forward, I had 4 assist that season. This year I have been named captain by my teammates, I play center back and have had 6 shots on goal this season. I am an aggressive player but I play smart, I look toward Sergio Ramos and his playing style to help me learn on what I need to do to be a better player at my position. I have also played club ball, when I was 15 (sophomore year) I play on my city's club U16 team so I could play and grow better as a player all year round. I started that season at right mid. The next summer (junior year) I started U19 playing with kid 3 years older than me and started over some. I played forward and some keeper due to an unexpected injurey that came to our keeper. I had 3 goals that season. I will be playing with my club team this summer for my final season before I head off to college hopefully to play for whatever school picks me up. I want to play, it's a passion I have. I will play anywhere I can. As long as I get to keep doing what I love It doesn't matter where I go.
