Personal Statement
I was 5 when I stepped onto the pitch. That day was the day I found my best friend. Ever since, I have played academy soccer with him, he was like a brother to me. We won many games, tournaments you name it. Once highschool came, he moved and it came to us going against each other. It made me realize the love I have for soccer and it was impossible to feel. Ever since it's been a constant grind for me. From doing cone drills in my backyard to watching youtube videos on the greatest players in the world. (Neymar is my idol, and no I don't flop like him)
There's not one day I go without thinking of what can I do to make me better. I am always finding a way to improve my weaknesses. At the same time making my strengths better and better. I have a dream, a dream I am currently living in. I want to continue to live my dream and pursue it until I can tell myself, on my very last game in my career, "I did it."
I can brag about the medals I have won, the goals I've scored; No I am a very humble person. I will brag about my IQ and awareness on the field. From always looking to see where I can make my next move, or when to check, where to turn and play the ball. Most of all, if you select me on your team, you will not be getting a one trick pony. You will be selecting a captain, a leader, someone who will do anything for his team on and off the field. I want my teammates to succeed as much as I want to.
Lastly, if you made it this far into my story, I want you to know that I want a coach that will help me get to the next level. I am ready to play on any college level, at any speed. I am a very coachable player and will do what is told. I am willing to go anywhere.
Thank you, Andrew Taylor
