Ben Perkins '24 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a player on the MLS NEXT U16 SLSG Academy. My primary position with the Academy is a central attacking midfielder, but also have playing time as a wide back and wing mid which makes me very flexible to play all over the field. I also guest play with the U17 Academy team when asked. I was chosen to represent my Academy team in a leadership program with the club this season. Who is Ben Perkins outside of the pitch? I attend St. John Vianney High School in St. Louis Missouri (Class of 2024 with a 3.8 GPA). I have awards for my academic achievements in various subjects. Received High School scholarship from the results of my written essay. I'm in the honors program. I have participated in the Upper 90 project for many years prior to covid with my soccer club. To sum it up I have the athletic, academic, and community outreach characteristics that would make me the perfect fit for any University.
