For as long as I can remember soccer has been my greatest passion. Since the age of four, I started out playing recreational soccer having the privilege of my dad coaching me. I joined club soccer at nine years old. It wasn’t until middle school that I discovered my talent as a soccer athlete. I have learned how to work as a team and how to communicate with others. Soccer has brought a sense of leadership that I’ve been able to display as team captain for the last four years and currently. This leadership as also helped with my peers, co-workers and at school.
My freshman and sophomore years, I really struggled keeping my GPA up amd focusing on my studies. It wasn’t until my junior year that I was diagnosed with ADD and properly medicated by my physician. I’ve learned to accept my diagnosis and have been working really hard in my studies and bringing my GPA up. Soccer has definitely been my motivation to be a better student.
Soccer has taught me that I should never give up. I have the motivation and determination to be a great student athlete. Playing soccer has a numerous amounts of varying factors to determine a victory and has taught me resiliency. Playing club soccer and High School soccer as me very excited to further my career in college.
