Talha Malik '22 Recruiting Profile

Since I was 7, I have always loved the game of soccer and how it worked. Through my years of playing, I have worked hard to become what I am today. Each day, my goal to pursue college soccer has gotten stronger and stronger because of the love I have for this beautiful game. My end goal is to play soccer at the college or professional level. I have always put my all in everything whether it'd be small drills during practice or major tournaments and games. I aspire to play on a great team where I can successfully achieve my goals to learn to become a better player. Many of my teammates and coaches can tell you that I am a great addition because of the way I can fit into and benefit any team. I am able to clearly shine with my attributes and skills because of the 100 percent effort I put into everything. I am often known as a workhorse in my midfield position because of my tackles and work rate. Communication is a huge factor that matters to me; I think that makes and creates wins for the team. I am vocal on the field and do my best to exchange feedback with my teammates. I spend some of my time watching clips from great players like Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi and more time practicing.  Other than soccer, my high school GPA is still high as well because of the time, and effort I also put into it. Nevertheless, I would like to play college and pro level in the future not only to win but to help challenge/improve me to become the best player I can be.
