Branden Langley '20 Recruiting Profile

Hey coach, my name is Branden Langley and you're going to want to read this. I am determined and 100% committed to playing at the next level. I am going to major in Biochemistry as I have always been fascinated wit how living things work. With my mindset always being "how an i do this better" "how can I improve here" I am certain that I am a strong asset for a team. All teams have a different style of play but with each style of play, every single athlete needs to push themselves to do their best. I have a strong drive coming from the way I grew up. I have always been driven to do my best and I will continue on that. I have seen and witness first hand people throwing their lives away and coming up short. It's been my goal since a very young age to push myself to do better than the people who surround me. With that being said, I feel as though I am the perfect fit for your team. I am very dedicated to always doing my best and from sheer effort I have found my leadership skills. A goalie can save the game, but I think he can be used in an offensive way too. Reading the field and understanding the style of play from both sides are super important. I think communication is one of the most important parts of the game next to effort.  I have logged 124 saves in 20 games this season with 8 clean sheets. Some of the teams we've played have dominated us and I feel as though my stats on paper don't entirely support my skill. Academically, I've always had to put in the extra work to keep my grades where I would like, I don't sell myself short in the classroom either. I hope we can connect and see what happens, critiquing is not such a bad thing either. thankyou
