Mitchell Oldham '24 Recruiting Profile

Playing soccer allows me to maintain my competitive edge and put it to use. I’m extremely competitive, and I feel that anyone who has coached me would vouch for my work ethic and my will to improve consistently. Whether I’m playing my worst or my best, my drive will always stay constant. Also, I don’t feel other recruits have the same commitment to thriving in the classroom as me, achieving top grades and test scores and managing academics so they don’t interfere with athletics. I also feel my ego is much more in check than other recruits. I have had to gradually work up the ranks, as I started playing MOSA soccer, then I worked up to EDP, then to ECRL, and now to ECNL, so I don’t feel that I’m above others. I feel I’m better than a lot of players, but I will never belittle someone or feel I’m better than someone as a man.
