Nick Politan '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Politan.  I'm a 5'10" midfielder from Millburn, NJ.  I have also played a lot at striker and some at left back. I was selected to the All-State team for my high school play this year, and I'm a two-year starter for my USSDA academy team.  I was also a starter on my NJ ODP squad and captain of my club team (twice State Cup semi-finalists).  I have a 4.0 GPA and a 33 ACT score.  

Ideally, I would like to be at a school where I can combine my love for soccer with my interest in creative writing.  I'd prefer a mid-size to larger school not too distant from a city, although that is not strictly necessary.  Also, I have no particular geographic preference.  My goal is to play college soccer at an academically and athletically competitive school where I can demonstrate my strong work ethic and dedication and be a meaningful contributor to the team.
