Alex Donahue '21 Recruiting Profile

Winning the first Mercer County game in many years for my school was the highlight of my junior season. However, I grew the most in my sophomore year when I was on varsity but did not start. I took the time to reflect on why I did not start and what I could improve on. The experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to focus on my efforts on becoming a college-level goalkeeper.

I was fortunate enough to be apart of a team that pushed each other to be better in every practice and game. I learned the value of teamwork, discipline, commitment, and sacrifice when I didn't start. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. As a leader on my high school team and club team, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
