Personal Statement

Hello, I'm Joey Lomas 

     I've been playing club since I was 8 years old for 3 different teams and I now play for Washington united. I am a defensive midfielder and center back. I was award JV MVP in my sophomore season, an this past season when our starting goal keeper went down with a season ending injury our coached asked me to play in net after never playing there before. We went on to go 7-2-2 in our next 11 games. At the end of the season I received 2nd team all conference goalkeeper. Moving forward I will be playing in goal for my senior season, while still playing in the field for my travel team. I want to play in college because I am passionate about the game of soccer, and this is the next step in my career.
