Isaac Vargas '26 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

My name is Isaac Vargas, and I am currently a junior student-athlete at Waldwick High School, set to graduate in 2026. I play for both my school’s varsity soccer team and the TSF club. Soccer has been my passion since a very young age, and throughout my career, I have had the honor of representing Waldwick teams and the Warriors soccer club. Additionally, I have been an active player in the TSF club for the past eight years.
My primary position is midfield, but I am versatile and play in various roles, including left wing, CDM, central attacker, and midfielder. As a freshman, I had the incredible opportunity to play with the varsity team in the state championship finals. This year has been one of my favorites, as we reached the semi-finals of the Bergen Counties tournament , won our group, and ultimately clinched the state title.
I have been a key player for my team, contributing 18 assists and seven goals this season. In our North 1, Group 1 sectional final against Emerson, I scored the decisive goal in the 53rd minute, securing a 1-0 victory for Waldwick. My performance earned me the MVP nomination by NJ.com and on our final game a three-star rating in the 2024 Group 1 finals.
Throughout my high school career, I have been recognized by various sports media outlets for my contributions and performances. I am eager to continue developing my skills and would be honored to bring my dedication and passion to your college team.
