The best way to describe me is science-intrigued with a strong passion for soccer. I have always been curious about chemistry and science in general. This intrigue has led me to the decision of majoring in Exercise Science as pursue a career in Physical Therapy. As an athlete, I have had my fair share of visits to trainers and orthopedic specialists, a career in that field will be my way of serving and paying it forward. I work very hard to maintain a 3.7 GPA so that I can accomplish my career goals.
Soccer is my DNA. You see, my parents are from Haiti, a country where soccer is deeply ingrained in the culture. I have been playing since I was 4 years old. I essentially grew up with a soccer ball at my feet and soccer games on TV. Whether it is MLS, Premier League or Champions League, if there is a game on, it’s on our TV screen. This is the origin of my love of soccer. I am passionate about sharpening my skills on the pitch, I watch clips, attend extra training sessions and joined track to enhance my agility. These efforts have helped me with my playstyle as a winger/forward. It has allowed to have good control on the ball and outpaced my opponents. I am easily coachable and can take and welcome constructive criticism. I hope to continue my journey of playing soccer in college knowing how challenging it will be.
