Right now, I am a Sophomore in High School. I am not exactly sure what I want to do in the future as a career or a major; but what I do know is that I love playing soccer. Soccer has been a love of mine since I was 5 years old starting in Pee Wees. I feel through the years of intramurals, travel and school ball, I have learned to be confident in my body, be aggressive, be a leader and be a valuable member of a team. I have played many positions, but my home is as a Center back. Being the last man of defense and protecting my goalie from goals is something that I feel I have really grown as a player and in my abilities. Many opponents look at me and think, wow this kid should be playing football and not soccer because I do my best to not let them get past me both physically and mentally. As a person and an athlete, I am respectful and responsible. I am known for always thanking the referees after every game no matter how the calls were played. I feel that I am a well- rounded person. I work as a bus boy at a very busy restaurant every Friday and Saturday nights. I play the upright bass in my school orchestra. My whole family and everyone who has ever met me calls me an "Old Soul," in my character and nature. I love being around people and having good solid conversations. I am a hard worker. I am coachable. I want to learn, grow and improve. I feel all of these qualities make me a very solid candidate for a college team.
