I believe that hard work brings success, and that you should never lose sight of your dream. Neymar once said, “The secret is to believe in your dreams; in your potential that you can be like your star, keep searching, keep believing and don’t lose faith in yourself.” I have wanted to be a professional soccer player since I was four years old. I know that is hard to believe, but my very first coach, Attila, taught me that if you love what you do and you believe in yourself, everything else will come.
Each day, I challenge myself and try to achieve a goal. I have had the opportunity to train under multiple coaches and philosophies and I really, through hard work, have been able to leverage that and use it to my advantage. I have grown so much as a player. I play seven days a week, so even though I have a lot to learn, I believe I have an amazing understanding of the game. My technical skills and tactical skills, as well as my work ethic and love for the game are what separate me as a player from my peers.
I am hard working in both my academics and on the field, as they are both important to me.
