Lex Puente '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexander Puente but I go by Lex. I am a senior at Verdigris High School in Oklahoma.  

Currently, I am captain of the varsity team at Verdigris coached by Kenny Lussier and assistant coach, Abe Young.  As a junior, last year, I was named All District and nominated MVP by my teammates.  I can play any position on the field and have the ability to play the ball where needed.  My ideal playing position is center mid.  I am able to backup the defense and have the speed to move the ball forward. 

My passion is sports but primarily soccer.  Prior to COVID-19, I played club for ’02 Energy FC Navy (with Miguel Torres) and guest played with ’03 Energy FC tournaments, both teams coached by Armando Ramirez and Valente Penuelas in Tulsa, OK.  I attended EXACT ID Camp in Dallas recently and have video from camp that I can provide if needed.
