I am an Eagle Scout and dual sport athlete. I play both varsity football and soccer for my high school. I have been the starting GK at my school for three years and have played soccer since I was 5 years old.
I like both Geology and engineering and plan to become either a mechanical or geological engineer. I envision myself as a STEM major because I value the opportunities that science and math give us to preserve and improve our physical surroundings.
I place a lot of value on loyalty and team. I have been honored to be part of the very first soccer team ever fielded at my high school. As a founding member and leader on the team, it has been a lot of work but also a lot of fun to help build our program. We started as a struggling program and quickly grew to contenders, making the state playoffs in 2017. As the starting GK, I take my role very seriously. I don't miss practice or any opportunities to improve my game and I work really hard to mentor and help coach the younger students at our school who are the future of our program. In addition to soccer. I enjoy teaching elementary classes on Geology and serving my community through my church and Scout troop. I have a strong sense of community, dedication and faith. If I start something, I will finish it. I completed a 10 day Philmont trek with my Scout crew where we hiked more than 80 miles in 10 days through the mountains, carrying all of our gear on our backs. This summer I will be hiking the mountains of Montana on a mission trip to visit and share hope with some very rural villages.
I look forward to playing college soccer while pursuing my goal of becoming an engineer.
