Nathan West '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2008 defender (in the class of 2026) who plays with intensity while also keeping a level head. I almost always play the entire game during club and school soccer. I train and practice outside of team practices in order to increase my performance and meet my goals. I was a varsity starter my freshman year of high school and earned the Defensive Player of the Year award. My sophomore year I was awarded MVP, and then my junior year I was awarded Defensive Player of the Year again. In school and club soccer, all of my coaches have said that as good of an athlete as I am, I also have fantastic sportsmanship which separates me from any other player on the field. I never lose my temper or allow other players to get in my head. I strive to be a good person as well as athlete. I am adaptable to my teammates and coaches. I am coachable and appreciate opportunities to improve. Academically, I have always had straight A's with a rare B at times.
