There are many athletes out there. But those who rise above the rest are always the ones who work their tails off , give their all each and every day, and put in the work that shows. I may not be the best player on the field but from what people tell me, I rarely have a bad day.
My coaches and teammates have noted my leadership potential, coachability, and work ethic on and off the field. Before the 2020 season began, my high school coach sent out a ranking list of each and every player and I was the #1 player on the team in the coach's eyes. I am honored by this ranking but I know that I have weaknesses and therefore work hard to improve on them. As of the 2021 season, I am a captain for my high school team. This shows my dedication and leadership as a Junior.
Off field, I am a well-rounded student, I have a 3.67 GPA, have taken most AP classes available, and volunteer for my community and church. I am also now an inductee of the National Honors Society as of 2021. I also work every weekend for our family business moving 300-600 lbs inflatables.
On field, I am a consistently solid player, am one of, if not, the hardest working players on the team and feel like I make a significant impact on the game when I'm on field. I play 90% of each game and often more.
As a member of your team, I promise to try my hardest and do my best each and every day in practice and in-game. I want the team I play for to go as far as we can.
