I come from a family that values service to others. My mother and father are both retired police officers, and my two oldest brothers served in the Army. I am the youngest of five siblings. Through this experience, I have learned that service to others, hard work and determination can bring opportunity and success. During my 11th grade varsity season, I lead the varsity team in both goals and assists. This made me the most productive player on the field, but it did not matter to me whether I scored or my teammate. The most important thing was that my team scored and that gives the team the best chance to win. I look forward to bringing the values of service, determination and hard work with me to the college classroom and on the pitch.
