Jagger Carlin '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jagger Carlin.  I am 14 years old and a freshman at Bridge City High School in Bridge City, Texas.  I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and I have played Division 1 Select soccer for the past 5 years.  I am primarily an attacking center midfielder and I am naturally ambidextrous.  I will be starting on my high school varsity team this year as a freshman.  I give 100% effort during every practice and every game and no one on the field wants to win as badly as I do.  I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field and I have maintained a 4.0 G.P.A. throughout middle school and earned membership in National Junior Honor Society.  Additionally, I am enrolled in honors biology this year.  In addition to club soccer, I have played basketball for several years and was voted MVP of my 7th grade team and  Defensive Player of the Year for my 8th grade team.  Also, I play on my school's varsity basketball team as a freshman.

My ultimate goal is to play soccer at the professional level and I am determined to do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal.  As a leader on my soccer team I believe it is my job to encourage and motivate my team mates and lead by example both on and off the field.  I want to bring that same leadership to my high school team and to my future college team as well.  I want my parents, teachers, current coaches and future coaches to be proud of the way I represent myself and the effort that I give in everything I do and I will work everyday to try to be the best I can be in anything I do.  If you are looking for a center midfielder that will give you every thing he's got then I want to hear from you!
