I was born in the UK, and started playing soccer (football) at age 3, I was already attending soccer training and had been identified as an extremely coordinated individual. I have played club soccer in the US since the age of 5 in both California and Texas, competing at the highest level. I have always been short for my age until last summer when I hit a growth spurt, so I have always had to work harder, run faster, be more aggressive, and be more acrobatic to stand out and make a difference. Despite my height I have aerial dominance in games. if the ball is in the air, I will be there. Going into freshman year I was 4 foot 11 inches tall and competing with 6 feet tall players, so being faster, jumping higher, and being more agile was key to my performance.
My accomplishments include coming second place in state cup 3 years in a row, playing for Houston Dynamo MLS Academy, and winning an international tournament in Toronto Canada with Houston Dynamo. Going undefeated freshman year without conceding a single goal, going undefeated sophomore year conceding only 2 goals that year, and winning districts for the third year in a row, junior year. Playing soccer creates friendships, leadership opportunities, teamwork, and mentoring opportunities. It has influenced me as an individual and to be brutally honest, soccer is the reason I get up in the morning, it's the reason I go to school, and it will be the reason I have a successful college experience.
