Ermias Goahu '21 Recruiting Profile

I’ve always been around the pitch since I was young. When I started playing, my sole mission was to become the best version of myself. My keys to success are loyalty, perseverance, and passion. I apply those three things into everything I do. I’m a leader for my team, I’m currently the captain for my club team and my coaches look to me to grab the team by the collar. Off the pitch, I like cracking jokes and having fun with the people around me. People that really know me say I’m an enjoyable person to be around.

     During college, I want to build a base for the rest of my life. I want to meet people that I can stick with, and meet mentors I can go to. I’m very focused in the classroom with very good grades. I understand that the program goes beyond just the soccer. I can impact the program and make my college experience go beyond the 4 years.

When I play, I feel my understanding of the game is my strongest skill. I see the game before the play has begun. My finish and aerial attacking is also very strong. While I’ve reached this point, I know I can still improve to even 300% better.
