Personal Statement
My name is Jaysheel Desai and I am a proud student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. I have loved soccer ever since I found out what it was. I was like everyone else playing striker and defense etc. until one day I got put as a goalie in a recreational game. I did really well in that game and instantly fell in love with being a goalkeeper. Years later I have taken goalkeeping seriously and I take pride in that. Whenever I need to, I take control of the defensive line and make sure no goals are let in. I am told I'm loud and scary which I feel are really important traits in being a goalkeeper.
