Liam Sullivan '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Liam Sullivan, a center forward and left winger, with an expected graduation of 2023.  As a current junior, I am active on my club team, Virginia Rush and a varsity starting player at my high school, Norfolk Academy in Virginia.   I consider myself a versatile player who plays center forward for Rush but also plays left wing or center attacking mid at Norfolk Academy.  Since the beginning of my sophomore year, I have started on my school team, and our current record is 10-3.  This season we placed first in our conference, the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools (TCIS), for the regular season, and we are seeded number one for the upcoming TCIS tournament.  As a player, I would describe myself as:  1) creative, 2) tenacious, and 3) communicative.  Additionally, my playing style consists of either making creative runs behind defenders at the striker position, or receiving the ball on the wing and taking defenders 1vs1 to cross the ball at the end-line. Every time I step onto the soccer field, I give 100% max effort and lead both my club and school teams to success by directing and listening to my teammates. Maintaining a GPA of 4.0 out of a possible 4.0 at Norfolk Academy and with math being my favorite subject, I am interested in attending a highly academic school where I can study mathematics, economics, or engineering.  Thank you for considering me as a student-athlete at your institution.
