Mason Buck '24 Recruiting Profile

I am hard working and dedicated to giving 100% in everything I do. Growing up with 3 sisters and a single mom, I know that anything worth having takes hard work and dedication. I am humble, but confident. I know there will always be someone out there better skilled than I am, therefore I never stop practicing or improving myself. I have goals that are obtainable, yet challenging to keep myself consistently working hard. I want to show my mom that her support and hard work produced a young man she can and always will be proud of.  I enjoy helping others achieve their goals and am always aware of my surroundings so that I can be a contributing member of society. I enjoy being part of student council for this reason. Soccer has been my passion since before I could walk. When coaches pushed me to use my right foot in my early years, versus my left, I decided to become proficient using BOTH! I am dominantly left handed and footed, but have skills using my right when needed. I am a team player and enjoy being part of a team that has everyone’s best interest at heart. I will continue to work hard in high school to prove that I am the full package and not just another athlete.  I have lead my travel league as Captain several years in a row and use that as an opportunity to be a leader, as well as promote a team atmosphere. We’re all in it together! I also made Varsity my freshman year and have played Varsity since, making Captain my junior year.
