Landon Farley '25 Recruiting Profile

My love for Futbol was born with me, from a young age I always knew that playing is what I wanted to do. When I was 4 I joined a recreational league and when I was 7 I joined a travel team where I was trained by South American coaches. My style is one touch pass, high tempo-play {in and out of position}, quick runs, exploiting the space and penetrating the defense. I have been trained in being attack minded. Most of my South American coaches have trained me in dribble, run, shoot style. I have also trained in Spain where the game is a little different where formation is always maintained, maintaining possession, and defense is strong and slowing the tempo. Going to different countries has truly made my passion for  the game of Futbol stronger. There is truly no feeling like the feeling of being on the pitch. I play the position of CAM, Striker, Left and Right wing. Along with my passion for Futbol I also want to achieve a degree in Sports Medicine. I know I will not always play Futbol at a competitive level and want to make a difference in young athletes lives when they get hurt playing their respective sport. As with everything, I am always growing in the game. "If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you" That is my motto. As a soccer player I am constantly learning and growing in the sport. I train 5 days a week to keep my skill level up and stamina.  Along with my Club soccer  Steel United, I also play for my school Suffolk Christian Academy.
