Andrew Patton '26 Recruiting Profile

I am excited for college.  My dad always describes his college experience as an aircraft carrier that allowed him to take off for the rest of his life.  I'm excited to move toward a career, learn to be on my own, and make new relationships.  

Athletically, all of my coaches or administrators have described me as a good teammate, coachable and hard working.  If I had to write one sentence to illustrate this in soccer I would say that, while I have generally played a center or defensive midfielder, I worked hard to learn various positions and willingly played whatever role the team needed and in each year I have played every position on the field for at least a short portion of a game to address something needed.  In the last two years I have had to operate more as a leader because we have had a large group of younger players on both my high school and travel teams and I think that has helped me grow as a player.    

People generally say I am competitive on the field but have an easy going personality and am well liked by other students and teammates.  Opposing coaches and referees have complimented me to our coaches on my attitude and I have never had a disciplinary issue in any school I've attended.
