Personal Statement

Playing in the West Virginia regional state championships as a freshman in high school was an amazing and eye-opening experience for me. Being on varsity as a freshman was an incredible experience. Playing with more experienced players was difficult but it made me work harder to reach the higher skill level.  

My friends and family describe me as friendly, caring, and intuitive. I enjoy helping others and people in need. I try to make the best decisions I can for myself. I make healthy choices and stay active to keep my body healthy and in shape. 

I am looking for a college program that will allow me to succeed both academically and on the court. Good sportsmanship and teamwork are everything. As a varsity and hardworking player, I know I would be a good choice for your team.
