Personal Statement
I began my competitive swimming on a recreational league (CARA) with the Northglenn Snappers (CO), from the age of 8 until I was 10 years old. I then moved onto a USA Swimming Club, Northglenn Fusion (CO). I swam with Northglenn Fusion from the age of 10 until I was 14 years old. From Northglenn Fusion I moved onto and currently swim for Foothills Swim Team (CO). I pride myself in saying I have qualified each season as a state and sectional level swimmer.
- Summer of 2015 - Western Zones Championship in Clovis, California, Summer of 2016 - Qualified for Western Zones and Sectionals.
- Spring of 2017 - Speedo Four Corners Sectional in Lewisville, Texas , Summer of 2017 - Speedo Sectional in Gresham, Oregon.
- Spring of 2018 - Speedo Super Sectional in Austin, Texas , Summer of 2018 - Speedo Sectional in Gresham, Oregon
I am also on the swim team at my high school, Lakewood High School. As a freshman, sophomore and junior I swim on the Varsity team. I qualified for state each year.
- Freshman year I competed in the 500 Free and 200 Free at 5A Colorado State Swim-Dive Championships. (2016)
- Sophomore year I competed in the 500 Free and 200 IM at 5A Colorado State Swim-Dive Championships. (2017)
- Junior year I competed in the 500 Free and 200 Free at 5A Colorado State Swim-Dive Championships. I placed 9th in the 500 Free. (2018)
I live in Colorado so all of my training is done at altitude level (5,280 feet).
I am a good student with a current grade point average of 3.5.
I would be a great asset for your swim team. I have a good rapport with my coaches and with my teammates. I am a team player and dedicated to the success of the team. I am coach able and take instruction very well. I take pride in making improvements with each new season. I work hard and like to be challenged. I am proficient in all 4 strokes and my strengths are Freestyle and Butterfly. I have achieved my greatest accomplishments in mid distance swims although I compete as a sprinter as well.
