Swimming has been a family tradition for generations started by my grandparents. Thus, my family introduced me to swimming since youth, woven itself to my identity. I have longed to continue to pursue swimming at a higher level because swimming is what defines me as a person. It makes me stand out among other competitive scholars.  In addition to the sports itself, I value the team with equal importance, if not more. As is well aware, swimming itself is a repetition base sport and can be rather monotonous, therefore, the coach, teammates and the atmosphere of the team are put into greater significance.  A supportive and inclusive team has the power to animate each swimmer's experience substantially, and I wish to carry  a positive camaraderie to my next team as well.
