I have been a very stubborn kid since the first day I began to swim competitively. This stubbornness did lead to me being one of the top swimmers in CT and breaking records in high school that I did not even think was possible as a Junior. I grew up with a very strict European family so failure was never an option. I was expected to have all A's and attend practice twice a day whilst still helping around the house. The very few hours that I did have, I dedicated to spending extra hours at the gym or working to help out my family a little. To answer why I would make a better candidate than the other thousands of applicants out there, I would simply say I'm stubborn and dedicated. I am willing to take the extra mile and make myself better than I have ever been.
