Rafael Masbad '21 Recruiting Profile

I have met new friends and new teachers that are exhilarating me to come to school everyday to create bonding memories and learn something new. I am part of the swim team and ranked one of the best in the Class S League giving full acknowledgment to my coach and teammates from Trumbull and Saint Joseph High School. We have melded and encouraged ourselves to lead each other to victory causing us to be one of the best teams in the league last year. Over the last few years, I learned that no amount of money can buy another second of time and due to that fact I learned that I should take pleasure in these everlasting memories and experiences with my teammates and coached. My motto that I have created for myself is "fun later, first the job," because I know that my swim and school comes first. I outwork everyone in the room no matter how much better/worse they am than me, I am willing to train hard to carry my team to victory, and no matter what the results are, I teach myself to be humble and get back to training after a swim meet.  One college offer can make a difference in my life and can give me the opportunity to be who I am.
