Charles Mitchell '21 Recruiting Profile

My nickname (preferred first name) is Trey.  Swimming has always been fun!  I started swimming with a team at age five (on a local summer swim team).  I began competing more seriously when, as an 8th grader, I joined my high school team and started taking my focus on the sport to the next level.  (Under the DIAA rules, 8th graders in our school have an extra year of eligibility.)  I have been a team captain of my high school team for two years now.  I was also one of two in my class at Sussex Academy selected to participate in a statewide HOBY leadership development program.  I am currently working toward my Boy Scout Eagle rank. I think I have the grades, work ethic, leadership abilities and desire to become a valuable participant on a college team!
