2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My work ethic is strong in both the classroom and the pool. I have the drive and determination to be the very best student-athlete I can be. I have a 4.0 GPA, a job, and compete on the swim team. I have recently begun to swim on the closest club team to my town, which is an hour away. I have been on my high school swim team for two seasons. We practice at a neighborhood pool that does not have lane ropes, flags, or even blocks. Our high school season is only three and a half months long. It is the only time I have competitively swam, other than when I was younger, and swam summer league. I hope to make vast improvements through my new club team. In addition to swimming, I am a top ten powerlifter at my high school. I hope to go to a college that provides me with the best education and swimming opportunities obtainable.
