Brayden Schaeffer '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello,  my name is Brayden Schaeffer and I am from Allentown, New Jersey.  I am currently a senior at Notre Dame High School .  I have been swimming for the Peddie Aquatics swim club for the past ten years.  I am a member of the Notre Dame Varsity swim team for all four years of high school and I have been named as the team MVP for the last three seasons. Besides swimming , I am active within the performing arts department and I am working on earning my Eagle Scout rank. 

I plan on studying Biology with a focus on Marine Biology or Science. I am looking for a school that provides the right academic atmosphere while providing an opportunity to grow and compete in the pool.  I look forward to talking to coaches about becoming a college athlete. 

I placed first in the 100 backstroke at the Mercer County (NJ) Championship with a time of 59.96 SCM.   I also placed 2nd in the 100 freestyle with a time 54.68 SCM.  I lead our 200 medley relay to place first with a time of 1:50.90 SCM.  Currently, I have qualified for the NJ Meet of Champions in the 100 backstroke and the 200 medley relay.

I will be attending the Speedo Sectionals in Ithaca, NY from March 25-27.  I have qualified for the following events: 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 100 back, 200 back, 100 breast.
