Nathanael Meyers '26 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are be to a successful mechanical engineering student, in the mid-Atlantic region, and where I can swim on the varsity team. My academic aspirations are to earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with the possibility of a focus towards either automotive or rail transport. During my sophomore year I was enrolled at Rowan College of South Jersey earning dual enrollment credit. As for swimming, I have been competitively for my local summer club, Woodstream, since I was 8 years old with several seasons earning a spot at the Jack Hafner Invitational and Tri-County Championship meets. In 2021 I began swimming with South Jersey Aquatic Center (SJAC), first in gold select and currently in the senior I program. My favorite and best stroke is breaststroke. I believe my strength in this stroke can benefit a college swimming program. Beyond athletics and academics, I have been a member of the 4-H Active Citizenship Club since 2018 and for the past 18 months I have volunteered over 100 hours with the New Jersey Museum of Transportation in Monmouth Couty – I intend to continue my participation with both organizations for as long as I am able.
