Personal Statement

My name is Roman Henry and I am a dedicated swimmer with strong work ethic, competitive spirit, and proven math, science, creativity, and time management skills.

Swimming has brought out my competitiveness and has taught me to always work hard in and out of the pool, as I also work hard in school and have a high GPA, class rank, and test scores to show for it. I am very coachable and always have a positive attitude towards swimming. I always try to make progress in practice and get best times in meets even when I feel tired or sore.

Upon graduating from high school, I intend to major in aerospace engineering and continue to deepen my knowledge of physics, mathematics and science. I am open to all options but want to find a college with strong engineering and research programs that will challenge me academically and will allow me to continue my swimming career.
