Janis Kirsis '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" backstroker/breastroker from Spring Valley, NY. I have swam for the Condors Swim Club of Clarkstown for about 10 years and have swam 3 years on the Don Bosco Prep varsity swim team. There I have recently been named a captain during my junior year and to the 1st team all-league 100 fly team. I have a 3.0 GPA and look to increase it as the year moves forward.  

I am looking for a school that will challenge me with academics but also a challenge in the water. I would like to a attend school on the east coast, southern, or mid-western part of the country. I would like to pursue an institution with a meteorology program that will enhance my future beyond college. My athletic environment would be one where I can join a team and help succeed even if I would not start immediately. I believe my best fit would be in a medium to large school ranging from DI to DIII. I would absolutely consider a profound academic opportunity at the NAIA level.  College swimming is an absolute dream for me and I would produce any way possible for my team.
