I have not always been a very successful swimmer. Always rather mediocre at the age group level, it wasn't until after COVID hit that I began to really focus on the sport. Since then, the growth has been swift. I obtained my first LSC age group championship cut (GAGS) and my first age group state championship cut (TAGS) within three months of each other. Just four months after my first TAGS cut, I qualified for Sectionals and eventually achieved a Futures cut. Now, swimming at the collegiate level has grown to become one of my greatest future goals throughout my high school career. To be on a team and to push myself to be my best in both athletics and academics is an experience that I would not give up for anything in the world. Thus, I am searching for the perfect college that will challenge me in both aspects and give me a ladder to climb so that I may become the best version of myself that I can be. I am very excited for where this journey may take me, and hope that my search will be fruitful.
