Abby Bala '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6 point guard playing at Cinco Ranch High School which is a 6A class school. Last year as a freshman I was the starting point guard on varsity for every game. I also play AAU basketball on the Katy Rebels, for the past 5 years, where we are a national travel team that has played in Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans and Dallas. I am passionate and hardworking to improve my basketball skills. I'm driven to make my self the best basketball player possible. For example, my first year playing for the Katy Rebels at the Dallas Nationals in a close game my play time was 30 seconds, and I was told by the coach it was because he wanted to win the game, from that point on no one has worked harder than me, and for the past 3 years I have been the starting point guard and the anchor of the team. I also take my education very seriously and I currently have a 4.0 GPA.

I've always loved playing basketball, and I'm looking for a school that will help me grow as a player and a student. Currently I'm unsure of what major I want to study but I'm positive I want to play basketball at the next level.
