When I was seven, I joined the summer league swim team at my pool. I really enjoyed the experience and signed up for a year around swim club that fall and have been swimming ever since. Today, I am swimming 6 days a week and doing 2 TRX or dry land sessions a week. My swim team has become a part of my family and I have made some life long friends.
Swimming has made me a better person both in and out of the pool. I know that as a result of my swim schedule, I have been able to achieve better grades and challenge myself academically. I am a hard worker, who has a positive attitude and great time management skills. I am looking forward to attending a college that supports my academic goals and where I can be a contributing member of the swim team.
