My name is Elliott Kassab. I’ll graduate from high school in 2023 and I would love to swim in college. I started swimming as a kid on a summer league (I still swim there), but I got more serious 3 years ago when I started club swimming with SwimRVA. I also swim for my high school, but I’m the only swimmer. I qualified for the state meet all three years and last year made the A finals with a new PR. Club swimming is where I do all my training. I’m swimming 6 days a week and I also took up weightlifting about 2 years ago. I lift 5 mornings a week before school, and I also do dry land workouts with my club team after every practice. I enjoy lifting a lot and I believe it has helped my swimming, as you can see by my improving times.
I know the extra work in the gym and consistent practices will get me to where I need to be to join and contribute at the college level in the fall of 2023.
I'm looking for a team culture/community that is supportive, to which I can contribute both in and out of the water athletically, academically and socially.
