Joseph Warnagiris '26 Recruiting Profile

I've been swimming competitively since I'm 5 with my older sister and brother.  Our swim family has been a part of the Winchester Swim Team since 2011.  I tried many sports early on but settled on swimming as my favorite.  I was awarded top Virginia Swimming 10 year old swimmer of the year award in 2019.  Recently I've really enjoyed swimming with my James Wood High School team where I finished 1st in the 200 IM and 100 Breast at the VHSL Class 4 State Championship meet Feb. 16, 2024.  My upcoming meets include VSI SC Senior Champs, NCSA SC Spring Championships in Orlando and USA Swimming National 18 & under LC meet in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Summer Junior Nationals Irvine, CA.  I'm looking to swim in college for a competitive team where I can contribute to my teams success and continue to grow within my sport.  I'm ready for the challenge and understand the dedication it takes at this level.  It's a full time job that I've been preparing for many years.  Hope you will consider me for the job.
