Personal Statement
My goal is to pursue a collegiate tennis career and I will continue to put in the effort and hours to make this a reality. I feel like I would be good for your team because not only are my tennis skills good and consistent, but I am also a team player as I motivate my teammates and help them out as they play matches or at practice. I have been doing this and have been quite successful at this so far in my high school career. (Sophomore and Junior. Freshman Year season was canceled.) I train and play at least 5 days a week but usually 6 or 7 days. As I went to state for those 2 seasons, it showed me how to become the better player, physically and mentally. Coming out of state, I also learned other techniques used by players that I have continued to use in my gameplay which has further improved me as a player.
I go to Auburn High School and I attend the Gifted Program which is an academically rigorous pathway with more than 10 AP classes and all the other classes that I took are honors, other than my language courses. I have been in the Gifted Academy since 4th grade and when I graduate, the gifted seal would be posted on my diploma showing that I took the most rigorous courses available. I am also in the National Honors Society and honor roll.
