2024 Spotlight
2023 HighlightsDear Coaches,
My name is Jaden Mora and I am a Senior at Clovis High School in Clovis, California. I have had the wonderful opportunity to compete as a track athlete since the third grade. Since I first ran my first lap and landed my first jump, I have aspired to compete at a collegiate level. I know that becoming a track athlete in college will be life changing and a great experience.
I am a hard working, dedicated, and focused sprinter and jumper who learned at an early age to set goals and work towards meeting those goals during each season. I am very coachable and I strive to be one of the hardest working on my team. I enjoy being part of a team and commit myself fully to each sport that I participate in. I also spend time training at a facility and on my own to improve my strength and skills.
I have spent several years on two separate track clubs and have participated in many AAU and USATF track meets. These experiences have helped to widen my perspective and inspire me to develop as a track athlete. My PR in the long jump as a sophomore was 21'3. One of my recent accomplishments was running in the California State Track Meet with my 4x100 relay team as the anchor, where we placed 10th overall, with a time of 41.83.
In the classroom I study hard to maintain a good GPA. I am also a dual sport athlete and can balance my time with practice and completing homework and studying.
I would like to attend college where I can develop as a scholar and a track athlete. I have an open mind as to all of the college options that are available but ultimately, I desire to find the best college match and compete at the highest level possible. I hope to become a leader and role model and make my school, team, and family proud.
Respectfully,
Jaden Xavier Mora
