My name is Chrisly Kelly-Cannon and I am 18 years old. I was adopted when I was 5 years old and brought to the United States by my current parents. I am a Junior at Jefferson Academy Secondary School which is a college preparatory school. I have good grades, my GPA was 3.68 at the end of my sophomore year. I plan to get a degree in Business Administration and a minor in acting/film studies. I have learned to appreciate everything that I have because I once had nothing. I am thankful for the gifts that God has given me and I use those gifts every day to strive towards my goals. My goal after high school is to go to a college that fairs well academically and athletically. I would like to attend a D1 college because I have always strived to be at the highest collegiate level. I would be a great candidate for any team because I am hard-working and a persistent individual who will not stop working until my goals are met. I have been raised in a household where I have been taught that character is everything. I am a gentleman and a scholar at all times. My times and marks are remarkable for my first year ever running track and field. I have D1 marks and good times in all 4 of my events, and I plan to better those marks and times as the rest of my high school career finishes out. I am a scholar-athlete who gets great grades inside the classroom. I have set high standards for myself because I know what I can do and accomplish.
