2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I’m the track star without a track. I come from a small rural town in Colorado that is rich with friends, family and community, but lacks school funding. However, despite the odds, I made it to State my Sophomore year in three events; proving that hard work, dedication and perseverance can overcome any obstacle in your path to achieve your dreams. My goal is to run track in college while pursuing a degree in health care. I feel as though sports have always been a very important part of my life, seeing as though i've pursued them my entire life, and believe that I would be a very valuable asset to a sports team to any college.
