I learned more from being injured for a season than breaking three school records. I was injured during my sophomore year, but before that, I broke three school records in eighth grade. If anyone is to succeed they must learn to deal with bad positions. With setbacks of any size, the best thing to do is to maintain a positive outlook. During this period they taught me how to be humble and appreciative of my sport, health, and friends. I learned the importance of taking care of myself, my body's and mental needs. Having this ability has helped push me to be the best version of myself I can be, as a person and an athlete.
