    I am a strong believer that hard work beats talent. I believe that my confidence in my training and strong work ethic gives me a competitive edge over my opponents. If I were to compete for your college, I will surely be the first one at practice and the last one to leave. I am committed to my progress and will do anything to ensure my team's success.

    I believe I am just as strong, if not stronger, in the books than on the track. My rigorous course load and my elevated class rank prove I am committed to my studies just as much as I am to my athletic success. I hope to contribute to the reputation of whatever school I attend academically and athletically to the best of my abilities.
