I started track my Junior year and have yet to reach my peak. I want to do track in college to stay active and beat my PR’s. My main events are High Jump, Hurdles, and Long jump. Although I’ve done well in the 4x400, Javelin, and Sprinting races. As a result I’ve decided to challenge myself and do the decathlon this year. I‘m also willing to move out of my comfort zone and go to school out of state. Also I’m open to constructive criticism as it is an opportunity for me to improve. Although as a student athlete I do my utmost to work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the track. The reason I like track so much is the competitive atmosphere at a meet and the camaraderie built between teammates striving to do their best. After doing the decathlon and placing 7th and only being 129 points from 6th which would’ve made me medal it was a great experience and was a lot of fun.
